Had the same problem in a 420SEL fuses looked good so I proceed to rip the car apart to no avail.Turned out to be a fuse that looked fine and tested fine with a test lite but was no good.

To make a long story short change the fuse with a new FIRST than take it fom there..........Hope this helps
