We replaced a beautiful XJS V-12 for the SL500 for that reason! Repair bills started matching my mortgage payments!!!
My Dad owned at least one Benz throughout his life, so I feel at home owning one as well...
...I see too many MBs down here to feel as if it's prestigious to own one though...for every F-150 that drives by, there is an E320 not far behind...
