Funny you should ask...
When we met, she was a deacon(ess) at her church, AND the choir director. I later left my church to join hers and became the music minister. Not because I was good or anything but "in the kingdom of the blind, the guy with one eye working is the king".
Now that we are in Texas, and finally found a church home (
www.metchurch.com), I'm am an active member as one of the church musicians (we have a band), and help out with the children's Vacation Bible events and the Christmas musical every year. My wife does attend, but prefers to blend in with the congregation! :p
Despite the fact that it looks as if the tables have turned, I believe she still walks a straighter path in life than I do...
