You need to use a hook tool to bring the "connection" (female threaded receptacle) to the allen headed bolt and, while holding the connection with the hook tool, start threading the bolt in the connection by turning the bolt with your allen wrench. It may take a couple of times but I assure you it can be done with the dash in place. Mark
