Been wanting to try to do a 6-speed conversion from a C-class to an E-class. Guy I know who lets me tag along to auctions says there is a white 2007 E350 Sport with 210,000 miles being sold this week. I figure it should be cheap enough with those miles and I like the face lifted models better than the early ones. We check it out, it's nice. I thought if I can get it under $9,000 plus the $500 I give him, it would be a good deal. Thing brings over $13K! That is crazy. Oh well, back to looking at 2003's. Any other model Mercedes I could try such a conversion on?
