I also have an 1974 240D and am in need of a complete set of head blots/screws. My engine serial number is 6160102800 then after that was an 83 in a separate space on the tag. It was dark and really hard to read so I will go check it again if this doesn't sound right. When I look up head bolts online by year and model I never get any hits. Only for the '77 and up w123 chassis and nothing for the w115. Any and all help greatly appreciated.
