I have a 76 240d w115 body, I cant find the throttle position linkage on the trans to increase RPM when u throttle the engine.
At present she shifts very early, also caused the tranny to flare up or RPM raced up in between gears.

Any help can be appreciated.
I was able to tighten the shifting a bit by tightening clockwise the screw on right side / passenger side of the tranny.
The real issue is shifting too early.
