I already took it apart and set it back to where I thought it belongs, based on the slight wear marks in the air flow funnel. There is now clearance before resistance is felt when deflecting the plate.
This may seem like a silly question, but where is the specified 1 -2 mm movement before resistance measured from? It must be from the sensor plate, and I would assume the outer portion of the plate farthest from the fuel distributor??? I believe mine is close to 1mm at this point.
So you set yours by jumping the pumps at the relay and tapping down the stop pin. Boy that must take a delicate touch to not punch it beyond the .5mm and have to take it apart!!!
And the mixture will need to be rest to reflect the change.
