Both places sell the Bosch and the Knecht. The Knecht is made in Austria and the Bosch is made by Champion for Bosch in North America. Champion make filters for about 100 different products. They are the ones who also make the expensive Mobil 1 filter.

I've one of each of the Bosch/Knecht and although they are somewhat different designs I doubt there is any difference in actual use.

Don't leave these filters in for more than 6 months because they are not long life filters designed for extended oil changes.
