Very few bother to lube the cable.
I have shut one down with the butterfly.
Had to reach in & twist the leaver on the blower.
Otherwise put into top gear, brakes on hard & take foot off clutch.

Scares the C**P out of you when they start on full throttle & just keep winding up.
