The engine type for the 2.5 16V is 102.990
The biggest difference(other than 2.5 liter) is that engine had a DOUBLE row timing chain.
Valve cover & head will interchange. The EURO 2.5 motors had different cams from the USA cars. about 9 deg more duration.
The cam gears are different!
The EVO motor is a 102.991 engine. NO parts from this engine will interchange with the USA engines
