the monoarm wipers have a problem with a circular plastic gear ring in the main hub unit. If the wiper gets jammed against anything (i.e ice, debris) the plastic gear ring teeth strip off. I was unable to find this plastic part as a separate item in the mb parts catalogue so I was forced to buy a used complete wiper gear assembly from potomac auto parts in St. augustine fl.
