Issues with diagnosing vacuum leaks with mityvac

The other day I bought a Mityvac MV8500 Silverline to use to find the myriad vacuum leaks that've been plaguing my 240D for as long as I've owned the car. I started in the engine compartment. The first line I checked was the main line that goes back to the reservoir. Checked out fine. Next, I went to check the door lock line... but I don't have a nozzle that'll fit into the vacuum line. This is the first time I've gone and worked on the vacuum, so sorry if this is a stupid question. I've looked online for smaller nozzles, but haven't been able to find anything. A forum search has turned up nothing, as well. This has gotten me thinking that it's me missing something, as it seems that no one else has had this problem. Can I get smaller nozzles? Do I need them, or am I going about this the wrong way? Thanks again.
