I was at the Ecology auto parts wrecking yard (Hwy 395 in Adelanto) the other day. There was a 190D 2.2 automatic that was mostly complete, and a couple '78-9 SD's with non-EGR manifolds (for those that want to go EGR-less on their 617). There was also a 240 with the engine removed, and the 4 speed just waiting to be pulled. I also saw a 6.9. It was mostly intact with only the deck lid emblem and the fuel distributor missing. It looked like all the SLS gear was still there. Someone needs to get this car! I am mostly a Diesel guy, so I am not interested in the gasser.
