MB is now selling a "cheaper" version of the star diagnostic for the aftermarket for around $10,000. & that includes a 1 year subscription to ON-LINE WIS. Check with MBUSA.
Also ON-LINE WIS will be available to anyone with $$$. I believe that will happen in January.
All car makers must make this info available because of the "Right to information" ACT.
