My 85SD brakes fine with stock Brembo rotors and correctly functioning calipers. I replaced hoses, took a chance on Cardone reman calipers & bought new aftermarket pads. I forgot which pads but found some that had reviews where they had actually done some testing on the track instead of listing regurgitated subjective opinions.

A bigger problem is wet handling but I attribute the tendency to break traction to the weight of the vehicle. I'll look hard at tires when these need replacing.

85SD 240K & stopped counting painted, putting bac together. 84SD 180,000. sold to a neighbor and member here but I forget his handle. The 84 is much improved from when I had it. 85TD beginning to repair to DD status. Lots of stuff to do.
