I talked to a fellow at Aurora Auto Wreckers in N. Seattle about steering boxes for these 'S' class cars. He said he could sell me one out of a low-milage car(what ever that means) for something like $175, and for about $250 they will go thru it and replace seals and make sure it looks good inside. (That's 250 total, not on top of the 175). Sounds like the way to go for me. Might check in your area. I know auto wreckers do ship parts all over the country tho. (used to work at one many moons ago)
