The same thing happened to my daughter Saturday night. She had a flat and some friends used the key or something to open the trunk. I had to mess around with it for awhile.

Sometimes, with a good system, you will have to cycle the drivers door lock. Just keep trying with the engine running, and use the key on the lock in several positions, you'll get it.

After that if there is a vacuam problem, find the leaky locking diaphragm and replace it. They're relatively inexpensive. Don't forget to check the fuel tank door and trunk diaphragm. Most likely, one of them has a pin hole leak if the system is not working properly.

The golf clubs need cleaning? Wouldn't it be of higher priority to use them?<bg>
