Here are 2 pictures of the steering shaft. This is the 322 mm shaft. I need the 369 mm shaft you got (same car that the steering box came from).
The tools and time needed (at least for me)
1. About 5 minutes, if that.
2. A 3/8 rachet, a stubby extension, and a 6mm hex socket and phillips screw driver.
3. Truly simple ! Remove the under the dash panel and there is clear shot of the shaft. Rotate the steering wheel so it's a straight shot. It cracked right open and after loosening the 6mm hex bolt on the coupler, it pulled right out.
It is literally that simple and quick.
PLEASE grab the entire steering shaft, the rubber boot, grommet and whatever is part of the shaft.
