hey man I was just trying to share with folks where to get the gasket for the housing...

your sarcasm is so thick I could could scrape it off the walls like spackle....

and to the benefit of the readers who like myself are actually trying to learn something and share in a constructive manner...no the guy at the turbo shop didn't put a dial gauge on it, he just said it was alright. also I do not know the allowable slop in the end (front and back) and radial (up and down) play of the shaft and it's bearings...altho I have watched a video or two

oh...and as far as all that optimization of the housing the coupler (seen that done before), the head (heard about this before), and the manifolds (read about these too)...well I been reading..and it made sense and I wanted to do it so I did.

but on the turbo...no thats where I drew the line...someone who knew more than I did about them said it didn't need doing. and why would I put myself thru that to save $150? at $50 an hour or so I'd rather let a pro handle the turbo, same as if I was to need an IP rebuilt....

no...maybe someday vstech...for now I'm still what, 17 months into this?
