a 5spd 4 cyl escape sounds like a tough of a sale for a dealer.....everyone wants an automatic. But since you plan on keeping it forever then you won't have to worry about resale.. I personally prefer a manual tranny as well...I don't care if it's a Lincoln town car...I wanna shift gears...
