I apologize for neglecting my post. I just realized it was getting activity again.
Here is a pic of the car I referred to. It is not a pristine rare undriven example. It is mostly original with the exception of the front seat covers, which I replace due to wear with MB material
that matches the rest of the interior. I did have to replace the smog pump that was added to meet emission requirements required in the Southwest.
This car is driven in good weather-not a trailer queen.
It is in good shape however. No rust that I can find.
I mention the fact that it is a euro only for accuracy sake. Some seem to swoon over euro versions, others deride them as "just gray market"
To each his own, I guess. Some have the opinion that the 500 eruo has more guts than the 560's do.
Several 107's in the last few years have gone unsold at IOLA in the 7M to 12M range. Admittedly most had 100,000 plus miles but not all. I hope
ericdee and DieselPaul are correct in the 10-15M range. It appears that it would have to be a very unusual mid 80's 107 to break into the 20M area.
The days of people taking second mortgages to throw money at toys
seem to be gone.
Anyway, thanks for all the input.
