Hey guys,



I have a 1984 MB 300D. I recently found that one of my inner CV boots tore on my driver side and drained the oil. I've been reading all about the chinese replacement axles and how iffy the quality is.

I would like to avoid pulling everything apart to find out they don't fit or they wear out in a month. My passenger side axle is in good shape. It is the original style with the cans on each end.

I would like to replace them both at once, but if I can only get a driver side axle for now, that would get me by.

Does anyone have a decent shape rear CV axle they are willing to sell? I'd love to get a pair, but I don't know the chances of anyone having a pair available, and at this point one would get me back on the road. Then maybe I could buy some nice remans or something when I have more scratch.

So if anyone has one or a pair of decent axles with some life left in them and feels like letting them go, let me know.
