In my experience the best and maybe only way to do an engine swap like this, is to have the entire car that the engine comes out of. In this way you have all the little brackets, wiring harnesses, etc. If you had a donor car for this, maybe you could take the transmission from the donor car as well as the engine. I can't imagine that the engine and trans wouldn't fit. But then this could lead to a driveshaft of a different length, or a different transmission crossmember. The list of necessary parts could go on and on. This is why I say having the entire donor car is so necessary.
