The engine runs great, and I would love to swap the entire eng/trans into my recipient 240D, but I just don't think all that's gonna happen. I'm still searching for someone to do the trans swap. The eng has 235k on it, leaks NO oil that I can tell, and the car routinely returned 30-32 mpg with the 4sp. The valves were adjusted less than 3000mi ago. I don't have the compression figures, but like I said, very strong. Always started right up in the winter without block heater or anything except good battery, good glow plugs and 5w/30 synthetic oil.
