KNOW the feeling of a diesel not starting! I definitely would suggest you wait until you hear the click of the relay under the hood before turning the switch off which means the glow plugs are glowing for about 40 seconds. The click lets you know the relay has cut off the glow plugs. Do the cyle again (about 40 seconds) & your car will definitely start better. It did good just by doing what you did in the video, but will do much better with the above suggestion. How many miles are your 240D?
