It's not my cup of tea, but I'm not going to judge. Plus, he's young, he seems to be happy, and he appears to have prioritized roadability, which is important. How many kids buy a car that needs lots of work but dump money into flashy wheels, paint and tint, but it's just a tired old mayhem-laden wreck (leaving fluid tracks) with everything that really matters.

And as Larry points out, he's actually done something useful with his spare time. I know too many people in that generation (and the one prior) whose useful, transferable and relatable skills end when they unplug from the PS2/Wii/etc. The kid also seems to be personable and to have a grasp of the English language.
