Might finally be a more efficient replacement for our '96 E350 Powerstroke workhorse. I was excited about the Sprinter. But in order to carry two tons and accommodate the dual rear wheels, the wheel wells were pushed inward eliminating the possibility of forklift loading a standard 40" wide pallet.
None of the modern diesel domestics offer the carrying capacity in a van configuration because of the heavier powerplants and the modern euro options don't offer the dimensional capacity or carrying capacity and/or diesel option. This looks promising. The upfit and configuration options are impressive.
