nice to see a thread on beckers 2330/2340 I have one also. the 2330 has the khz steps at 9mhz, and the 2340 has every 10khz for am. there should be a dial on the back of the 2330 to change from 9 to 10. (europe 9, us 10) also have the sony. the becker is a good unit, love the sw bands. I have the diagrams for the power plug if any one needs a copy I can fax it over. the plug should be the same for both 2330 and 2340. when I ordered the 2340 from saddle river n j, I told them where I was and how deep the snow was then, they gave me a discount on it! very good radio. joel hall in marquette mi, in the upper pennisula which is not on the map. I think you have to have the silverstone unit for the radio, don't know of anything that fits, would like to get one myself.
