That's pretty interesting since cyclists tend to be either oblivious or DBs; and are generally unpredictable.

My detection system works just fine. They're usually in the middle of the road, often side-by-side. And if there's a stop sign or red light, it's safe to assume a cyclist will come flying through it.

My brother falls into the oblivious cyclist category and was hit by a car several months ago. No injuries but it totaled his $2000 Trek, which was replaced by the driver's insurance company no questions asked (I'm sure they were fully expecting a lawsuit and were happy to see it settled so easily).
