The crosly engine appears to have an ohc driven by a vertical bevel shaft off the rear of the crand and the head and cylinders appear to be integral bolting to the crankcase. It has a one barrell carb with an opening the size of a quarter or so.

Sounds interesting, but Tom, are you aware of the story about the "Miss Madison" slaying the dragon back in the early seventies in the Hydroplane races in Madison? They even made a movie about it. A movie that you, as a racer, I'm SURE would enjoy if you haven't already seen it. I am pretty sure that the boat is in a museum in Madison.

Well before I run you on a wild goose chase, I learned from the second link that apparantly the "Miss Madison" is in a museum in Washington State.
A little more googling and I'm fuming!

For the movie, the Hollyweirdo's made a museum out of the old train station and made it appear that the "Miss Madison" is housed there today. What a bunch of jerks. What did they possible add to the movie by making up lies?
