I found it ! After spending most of the last few days going through boxes,crates, bins etc I found my Digital runout gauge and the magnetic base that goes with it. Since moving late last Summer every time I need to do a repair which requires a specialty tool that I know I have. It becomes a game to find out where it is ( stuff stored at various friends places ) I think after this brake job I need to turn my phone etc off and sort and reorganize my tools. It always a great opportunity to have my son ( 11 y.o. ) sit with me and help. I try to turn these into teaching sessions ( like the proper use of a torque wrench, the proper use of a wrench itself etc )
