Does anybody here know if there is any big difference in the trunk lid between the 2006 and the 2007 models?

I'm looking to buy the Saris RS bike rack for my 2006 E350, and am a bit confused.

According to the manufacturer's website, The Saris RS only fits the 2007 E350 model. I thought the 2006 and 2007 models are almost identical, except for a few cosmetic redesign, and the new E-class only came out in 2010.

I'm thinking there may be a mistake on the manufacturer's website...

In case someone else is looking for the same thing, I emailed the manufacturer, and here is the answer to the question:

>> There was a facelift for the 2007 model. The 2006 and lower years of that same generation have a slightly thicker trunk lip eliminating the Bones RS. According to our fit notes and pictures, the 2007 and up model works with the RS.
