do you mean the OBP valve? I think it's referred to as the overboost protection valve. it dumps manifold pressure path to the alda... there is no vacuum feeding it... if you have vacuum attached to it, that's why your alda did not fuel your car...

if you mean the vacuum control switch on the IP, it's got vacuum on it, to control the modulator in your transmission.
