IP swap done. 300D won't start.

Spent most of the weekend pulling the (known working) IP out of the parts car and into the daily driver. Took a while - but there were no surprises and everything went well - so I think anyway.

Pulled the fan, the vac pump, the intake manifold and then the IP itself. Engine was at 14 deg when the locked IP was placed back into the engine with a new O-ring.

Put mostly everything back together (haven't put the fan or the belt back on) - but the engine won't start.

I've cracked the hardlines and I see fuel bubbling up - not squirting like I think I should.

Any ideas? I've been careful not to burn out the starter - and only try to start 2x each min for a short duration each time.

What am I missing?

Thanks,

-John
