The new plastic head are really crappy. The key used to be molded into the head, and now it's an insert style, and they tear really easily. A wood key head will hold up WAAAAY longer and looks way better too. Here is my DIY for making your own wood key head. I've make well over 20 of these for forum members over the past few years and never had anyone have issues with them breaking. I've had mine for several years now and still holding up great. If you're not up for the task yourself, I'm happy to make you one, and I've been asking $25 for one, or $40 for a pair.
