You are also fighting a lot of other worn parts. Remember: When this was installed at the factory everything was new and it all lined up.

The best thing I have found for this is to get someone to help. When you are dealing with the weight of the window and trying to align the tracks you need at least three hands.

I also lube up the window tracks with some silicone spray so I am not dealing with the friction of the 'fuzz' in the tracks.

And block out lots of time. Sometimes I hit these things just right and sometimes it takes hours and hours of fiddling.
