I received a new key ($155.94 USD w/blade key) and the car still has the "turn over once, then stop" problem.

So, after searching the web for TSB's for the clk line I came across an article from Consumerguide.com which says: "The starter stops running before the engine is running due to lack of grease on the starter drive gear. (1998)"

I hope this resolves the issue and will keep you posted. I'm having the car serviced on Tuesday and will have the starter "greased" then.
