Thumbs up Is anyone interested in interior wood covering?

I'm not sure if anyone is interested or not, probably not if you are a super hardcore mb enthusiasts and want to keep every single thing on your car original. I really don't care much about keeping everything original as much as upgrading/updating the look of my car and using newer and improved aftermarket parts (to a certain extent). I found a company about a year ago that specializes in synthetic, super durable, veneer covering for dash boards and they are phenomenal! The product is great and I was even skeptical at first so I requested a sample of the material and put it through my own testing.......I put a lighter to the material and tried burning it.....to my surprise it was pretty much fire resistant. I left it on the window sill a few days at 100°+ heat and it did not fold or crack, great stuff! I have a 190E and I was always a huge fan of the reddish-brown japanese cherrywood and I ordered the set, which included the overlay coverings for the dash, the glove box, the center console, vents, and the coverings for all 4 door handles. The coverings are offered in a variety of wood styles, plain color styles, end even carbon-fiber style. These guys guaranty their product and work and may even be able to custom build you any part you want like they did for me. The website is DashKitMall.com - Dash Trim Kits, Floor Protection and Car Accessories. I wanted to wait a while before I recommended them to fully test the durability of their product in the 110°+ climate I live in and I am extremely satisfied. You can request samples of the material to test for yourselves. I have pictures that I am more than happy to share as well. This is s great alternative to getting something new other than the zebrano wood trim (they offer zebrano as well) and I know its hard to come across additional wood trim pieces as well.
