Started the removal today, just thought I would post some photos. As someone mentioned, the removal may help someone in the future. Actually, the removal may also help someone with the installation also.

The 240d will not longer be the "Manhattan College Engineering Veggie Car"

First I removed the rear auxiliary tank, pretty easy to do without making a mess. There is a lot of room in this trunk.

Both of the red tubes exiting the auxiliary tank are coolant and fuel lines.
The rear line is a coolant line and the front most line is a coolant line with a fuel line running in the middle.

It always seemed that the engine/veggie system wasn't warming up properly, well the coolant line with the fuel line in it had crud in it and it was not circulating properly.

This is worth mentioning for the people with "veggie" systems because it may be a problem for others.
