Depends on the condition as to the value of the car on resale. a pristeen vehicle, might be best to keep it all stock, then the resale to a MB enthusiasts would be higher.

One that has been down the road a time or two and shows the miles and some rust would not be worth as much to start with. so not keeping it as it came from the factory probably would really not make much difference is it wasn`t all original.

To some people a swap would keep them away, and others it wouldn`t make much difference.

Our original poster hasn`t been back. guess the lack of a response for a few weeks, he moved on.

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.
