Yep I have insurance - lots of it.

The boat is a pain in the arse so I'm doing the shortest distance => Calais to Dover. I could do Hook of Holland to Harwich but then you spend most of your life chugging along at 30 mph because they want to save fuel and sell you as much junk you don't need on board. The roads from Harwich to anywhere else in England are pretty bad. Which is another reason for taking the other route although Utrecht and Antwerp are dreadful places along the way to Northern France...
