I doubt cars in Nicaragua would be cheap relative to income level so I cannot offer any opinion on the price over there. In US, I would definitely go for it if it is under $600.

Bob, I have to say I am impressed with what you have done. I have personally seen your car, and it does not look anything like those photos now. Maybe there is hope for that car in Nicaragua.
Eins, I suggest you buy both cars and make the best one the 5 spd, and keep the other for spares.
