ATE or BENDIX - does it really matter?

Well, these rear calipers of mine are giving me fits. I think part of the problem is that in the early days of me owning it, I had to change one of my rear calipers that had seized (the rear passenger side) and picked up the only one that the shop had at the time. At that time, I never really knew there was a difference.

Well, that right rear one has always been a problem with sticking and seizing and what have you. I now realize that it looks different from the one on the left, and of course for the umpteenth time, has started squealing away. I just checked my service history, and just about every year, it does this and I change the pads, and notice the right side being more worn than the left.

Fast forward to today, now the left side is also hard to turn with the car on neutral and jacked up. I think its time to change both rears (duh!).

So would there be an issue if I change into one or the other brand, as long as I change both? I'm thinking it should have no problems at all, but would just like to check with the collective on consensus. What do you think guys?
