I have a 1 liter soda bottle under the antenna to catch the drips. cut the bottom off, slit it up one side. slipped it up from the bottom of the antenna motor, the slit goes around the flat strap to the fender. then it is Zip tied to the motor. the drips go into the bottle instead of the quarter panel. after each rain storm, place a can under the cap, unscrew, and drain it.

The 80 240 came with a manual antenna, mine got broken off, and can`t source another one. finally found an electric Chinese one in PNP just so the radio works. eventually I`ll find the proper one for it.

The only manual one`s I have seen for the 240 are made by the Chicom`s, and aren`t even close to the original.
