Yes it was on my bro's '91 300D 2.5. I started it up to back it out of the driveway and revved it up a little, but I just pushed a little on the accelerator and it stuck. On a gas car, the tendency is to push all the way down and then let off, and that is what I did. It just revved up all the way and I shut it down as quick as I could. I opened the hood and saw the servo arm holding all the way at WOT. I disconnected the arm, and it has been fine ever since (without working CC of course).
JamesDean, you are correct. I thought the servo was under the manifold (had the vision of a 603 in my head), but it is in fact on the side. I stand corrected...Rich
