Had a 79 5000, what a POS.

But, it sure was a comfy car, and drove great!

But it was made of poorly constructed VW parts, door handles broke, heads warped, dash cheesy, switches crummy, etc.

After 1986, the cars were much improved, as were Jaguars...!
