Some times, the lift pump on the side of the IP will leak oil into the fuel line but you should notice oil consumption....if your not noticing oil being consumed...then I would think you don't have a problem and its just the fuel you are burning....if I get bad fuel, like I have at the moment my exhaust smell is a lot stronger...

When was the last valve adjustment?
What type of oil are you using?
