Buying these era CDIs are dirt cheap to own and operate per mile. Even when you factor in hiring much of the work done. According to the VMI of my CDI, it is fond of going through rotors and brake pads for a low-mileage car. Could be because of the SBC (Sensonic Brake Control) or it might be the MB dealer selling service and parts to the previous owner that weren't needed. I dunno. The car is just a remarkable machine to me. Wish I'd of bought one years ago.
The ball joints on my W210 needed replacing @ 85K+ or so. Maybe it was premature maintenance, but the alignment wasn't able to be set because of them needing replacement. I would expect the W211's LBs will need replacing in the 125K +/- range.
