Seems I read in a thread a couple years back, that MB added this fuse as an up grade I think for the Blower. Did you have the Blower on?

You probably did and the AC too looking at where you live. I don`t have this model car, so just a guess.

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto
